What hadoop does in safe mode?
Answer / Ravinder Kaur
Hadoop enters Safe Mode when there's a failure in the NameNode, a DataNode failure, or during certain maintenance operations. In Safe Mode, HDFS prevents any new data from being written to the file system, allowing administrators to identify and fix issues before data is compromised.
