Apache Spark supports two primary modes of operation: Standalone Mode and Cluster Management Frameworks. In Standalone Mode, a single master node (the 'Spark Master') manages all resources. Cluster Management Frameworks such as Apache Mesos, YARN, and Kubernetes can also manage Apache Spark clusters.
