What is SSTable? How is it different from other relational tables?
Answer / Ram Dwivedi
An SSTable (Sorted String Table) in Cassandra is an on-disk data structure used to store sorted, immutable key-value pairs. Unlike traditional relational databases, SSTables are not stored in separate tables, but rather in individual files per partition. Additionally, SSTables support column families, which allow for schema flexibility.
