Stopping, starting, and terminating are actions that can be performed on an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance.n1. Stopping: Stops the running instance but retains the instance state, including any data on instance storage such as Ephemeral Disk. You can later start the stopped instance without losing any data.n2. Starting: Starts a previously stopped or terminated EC2 instance.n3. Terminating: Permanently deletes an EC2 instance and all associated resources, including the underlying Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) volumes unless specified otherwise.
