Explain the commit log?
Answer / Satyam Srivastava
The commit log is a write-ahead logging mechanism in Apache Cassandra that ensures data durability. Each write operation is first written to the commit log and then to the Memtable. The commit log is used for recovery purposes, allowing the database to recover from failures by replaying the log.
