Moisture formation in the outer sheath of an XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene) Armoured Cable can be due to several reasons:n
1. Exposure to moisture during installation or maintenance, such as working in wet environments.
2. Poor cable management and insufficient ventilation leading to condensation.
3. Leaks in the armouring due to damage during installation or handling.
4. Presence of high humidity levels in the surrounding environment.nnTo prevent moisture formation, it is important to ensure proper installation practices, good cable management, and use of suitable termination and jointing techniques.
