Dilution of lubricating oil in a steam turbine can occur due to: 1. Water contamination from condensate or steam leaks 2. Air entrainment during oil pumping or poor sealing 3. Oil oxidation caused by high temperatures and oxygen exposure 4. Wear particles generated by mechanical components
