Pressure (P) and velocity (V) are related through Bernoulli's equation in fluid dynamics, which states that the sum of the pressure, kinetic energy, potential energy, and viscous loss per unit weight of fluid is constant along a streamline:
P + 0.5 * V^2 + gz = Constant
where 'gz' represents the gravitational potential energy.
A practical example would be wind turbines. As the wind passes through the blades, its velocity increases due to the decrease in pressure (Bernoulli's principle). This increase in velocity causes the turbine to rotate and convert kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical energy.
