In QTP (QuickTest Professional), there are various types of test steps: 1) Keyword-driven test steps - reusable actions defined in a keyword table. 2) Scripted test steps - written using VBScript or JavaScript. 3) Action-based test steps - built-in, pre-defined functions that perform common tasks such as clicking buttons or typing text.
