One of the agile manifesto values says “people over processes”. Isn’t the scrum master role which enforces “the process” a contradiction?
Answer / Arun Pratap Saroj
The Scrum Master is not a 'process enforcer' but rather a facilitator and coach for the team, ensuring the processes are followed in accordance with the Agile Manifesto values. The role promotes transparency, accountability, and collaboration among team members while enabling the team to deliver high-quality products. However, it's essential to understand that a Scrum Master is flexible and adaptable, and the focus on people over processes allows the team to adjust the process as needed for optimal results.
