Discuss about the various tie & Die methods.
Answer / Rashmi
Tie & Die (or Batik) is a technique used in textile printing that involves applying a resist to parts of the fabric, which are then dyed. Several tie and die methods can be employed, including: Tied resist (where sections of the fabric are tied with string or thread before dyeing); Stitched resist (where stitches are used to create patterns before dying); Painted resist (where wax or other materials are painted onto the fabric before dying); Cloth-resist (where a piece of cloth is pressed into the fabric, creating a pattern before dyeing).
