| Answer | gsm is stands for global system for mobile communication. it
use tdma & fdma techniques as access mechanism . in gsm we
devide bandwidth in to time slots for better utilization of
bandwidth.
cdma stands for code devision muliple access it use cdma
techniques as access mechanism . in cdma we allocate a
unique code for every user saparately and allocate bandwidth
to user |

| Answer | GSM and CDMA techniques can be explained with an example
suppose there are 10 persons in a room and they want to
communicate with each other .How can they communicate?
First method:One persons speaks at one time that means we
have provided a definite time interval to that person.-GSM
Second method :all the peers speak at a time in a different
language which we call as CDMA |

| Answer | There are many differences are there between 1x Rtt and 1x
EVDO ----
1. first thing comes to mind the channel structure
in 1x RTT there are 4 forward channel and two rev channel .
but in ev do that channel structure is different . control
channel and the rest is total data
2. the basic and major difference is 1x RTT is based upon
CDMA and 1x evdo is TDMA

| Answer | GSM Stands for Global system for Mobile. It is a
combination of TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) & FDMA
(Frequency Division Multiple Access).
It is B1 Technology system for communication. It operates
in the frequency range of 800-900Mhz.
In simple words we can understand that this is the system
in which SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) is used. |

| Question |
What is FCC and how does it relate to Bluetooth? |
Rank |
Answer Posted By |

Question Submitted By :: Swapna |
|
I also faced this Question!! |
© ALL Interview .com |
| Answer | FCC is federal communication comitee of USA. it is
regulatory authority of USA like TRAI(actually DOT) in
india.
Its role is to allocate frequencies from RF spectrum (1 HZ-
300 GHZ) and providing licences for different application
like TV, mobile comm., satellite comm. etc.
actually bluetooth works on a 2.4 GHZ ISM band which is an
unlicenced band. hence FCC is not related to it much. |

| Question |
How does Bluetooth use frequency hopping for security? |
Rank |

Question Submitted By :: Guest |
|
I also faced this Question!! |
© ALL Interview .com |
| Answer | frequency hopping is a spread spectrum technique in which
the transmitter transmits at varying frequencies for very
small periods of time say milli or nano sec. these
frequencies are choosen in random among the frequency band
available. the reciever and tansmitter both are aware of
the sequence of the frequencies going to be used.
if some other agent tries to break the system and suppose
tunes to a particular frequency then he'll be able to get
that small part of the msg only because from next milli
sec, the frequency is going to change hence through this
wide band and secure transmission is achieved.
used in bluetooth as well as in Wireless lans.
there are 69 frequency bands in bluetooth and hopping rate(
rate of switching from one freq. to other) is around 1600
hops/sec |
