well i am a physiotherapist having 4 years of experience,
and question is. i have 7 backlogs and 2 years of pause to
complete my degree. and i dont even have tests score like
toefl and gre.and i also have an i 20 form a univesity which
dont requier toefl and gre. what are the chances of success
on visa? |

booking shall we choose our own time?. Or if we don't like
given time , shall we change it. please answer this.

| Answer | when you book, the system doesn't allow you to choose time.
u can only choose date. |

2006-feb i rejected b1 visa in cheenai embassy. now i got
2008-09 h1b visa approval. which embassy i have to attend
h1b interview any other tips for get visa. |

Hi,
My petition for H1B has been approved.
There is a problem though.
In my passport my name has been mentioned as VATSA TANGA.
But in all my certificates and educational documents my
name is mentioned as SRI VATSA TANGA.
On asking the person responsible for visa process in my
company, he said that I should not go for a change in the
passport name, because the petition was approved on the
basis of the name mentioned in the passport ie.VATSA TANGA.
Please tell me what should I do now.
Should I get a document from a notary saying that VATSA
TANGA and SRI VATSA TANGA is the same person?
Please suggest. |

| Answer | Hi Mr. so and so...
For safer side you have get the notary from the duly signed
by the district civil judge. since in future while applying
for visa doesant cause any problem or delay. |

Hi Guys
Situation :- I am working in a Company X , and applied for
H1 from a different company Y , and good part is that i have
got through the H1, means i got the H1 visa stamped and it
is valid till 2011 ,
Now my company X wants me to apply for B1 , so will the new
applied B1 will effect the H1 ? Will the US consulate cancel
the H1 to give the B1 ? As i am planning to go to US @ the
End of this year i can leave the current employer , who is
asking me to apply for B1 , Please reply !! |

| Answer | You cannot have two visas at the same time. If you apply
for B1 visa, other valid visa will immediately be cancelled
(they will put a stamp "CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE" on
your existing visa stamp in your passport). If you want to
retain your H1 visa, never apply for any other type of visa
until your existing visa expires. |
