| Answer | Yes, we can write TCs in 'Test Plan' tab in Test Director.
Test Plan -> Create 'Subject'/'Sub Subject' -> select it ->
click 'New Test' -> specify 'Manual'/'Automation' -> go
to 'Design Steps'/'test Script' tab.  |

After defining Design Steps & Details..... we have 'Reqs
Coverage' tab to map the TC with the Req.  |

refrences add the TDOLE connection DLL which connects to
the QC Server directly and then you can write the custom
Macros  |

| Answer | Based on my 2 years of experience as QC Admin, we set auto
configure email Status to : "Open" or "Reopen" or "Closed"
and Assigned to field ".." .And when a new defect is in
"Open" status an email would be generated to the developer  |

| Answer | Hi,
You can run a test case in two ways.
1. Just go to test case -> click on "Test Script" tab of the
test case ->Click on QTP icon -> QTP will open -> Just click
on Run.
2. Create a testset and assign the test case to that
testset. Now run the case in testset. It creates a separate
instance of the test, so you can view all the logs of the
earlier test run.
