Question
in SDLC,at what phase life cycle stops?and what are the
input and output of each phase?

This Interview Question Asked @   Tanla-Solutions

Answer
In SDLC life cycle never stops untill the pplication/product
becomes outdated or obsolete.
One thing i want to clear you friends

Typical SDLC phase looks like

 Requirement Gathering
        \
   Requirement Analysis
          \
       Design
           \
          Coding & integration
             \
            Testing
               \
               Deployment
                 \
                maintanenece

The above Seven are the major and important SDLC Phases.
ofcourse one can think that after deployment of
application/product in client enviroment development
process will be ended.

But in real it never ends like that. After deployment client
may need some changes or some additions or some pathches
to fix bugs or support.

So life cycle never ends until the product/application
alive.

Answer
Vss ( Visual source safe ) .It is a common repository where
we maintain all our information like documents
(FRS,SRS,TP,Test case documents etc). In this all the
documents are read-only . If we want to modify that first
we need to check out (download ) the required file to our
local system then modify the file and then check in
(upload) the modified one.

as our friends said it has the ability to safe running of
the project, by useing this we can know the modifications
made, and the persons who had done the modifications by
selecting the "History"(Give the Right click on the file or
project then select the History, u vil get the history of
that). One more advantage with this is u can differentiate
the present project r file with the older (Comarision of
files or projects can be done)by simply selecting the two
files or any thing which u want and then give the right
click then click on the "Compare". We get the differences
between the two. it has lot of uses. if possible i vil
attach the material regaring VSS , but i need a couple of
days,k.

Chandra shekhar has really done a good job, i mean his test
cases are really good covers almost all requirements.

Thing here is to appreciate for his test cases and not to
point his language.

I know communcation really plays a role but here its thing
more to appreciate rather than discouraging the person.

I agree that it will be more helpfull to chandra shekhar if
he can improve his language or vocabulary.

Answer
Though his test cases are right, without good written
skills even the best tester can't be a successful tester.
There is a lot of difference between being a good tester
and a successful and recognised one.Tester job is not only
to test but to communicate his test findings to others. Bug
reporting etc.

in script can i print the back page of a paper
Rank Answer Posted By

Answer
Easy - page FRONT lists page CONTACTS as next page and
CONTACTS lists FRONT as next page. Since CONTACTS does not
contain a MAIN
window, it will print the contacts info and then continue
on to FRONT for the rest of the main items. Additionally,
set print mode on FRONT to
D (duplex) and set CONTACTS to 'blank' (for both resource
name and print mode - this is the only way to get to the
back of the page).

Answer
1) check the connections i.e all the connections should be
tight & accurate
2)scan for viruses sometypes of viruses causes restarting
of computer
3) in very rare cases there may be problem in button of
restarting the computer on cabinet

0
Ramandeep

Answer
Restarting of PC happens when
1.CPU temperature is exceeded than rated temperature
Normally this is due to Improper contact between Heatsink
surface and CPU surface. When the conact is week or improper
between the cpu and Heat sink the CPU core teparature rises
enormously and the CPU thermalShutdown protection system
causes to cuttoff the powersupply for the CPU to safe guard
from thermal damage.
The above cuase is general and Most happening.
apart from this cause some other factor may also cause
system restart.
Viruses will terminate the OS processes so it causes to
shutdown.
Incompatible extension cards,unstable software
installations are the other class of causes for system
shutdown.

say me any problem u faced in the project after delivering
to client?
Rank Answer Posted By

This Interview Question Asked @   Mantra-Group
I also faced this Question!!   © ALL Interview .com
Answer
Mainly the project will be divided in to builds. Build
wise, we can come to conclusion what is the percentage of
testing finished. After delivering the Build to customer we
will be getting the build status and where the events has
failed. keep track of those events and see that those are
not repeated in the next build. Like wise at the last
deliverable the client comes and we come to conclusion that
the product is stable.

After delivering it to client, and if any problem arises
they will be having the back up of documents. Before that
the product will be in support for some months according to
the client. Once the client has given SOW sign off and then
the problem comes, we are not responsible for it. But there
will be set of people if any problem co9mes in the project
after delivering to client to solve the problems.

If any queries, call me to 9440567637.

there is no question of not having sap* in the system.why
because even if the sap star is deleated it will get back

Client Copy:we do it by the transaction Sccl.

now coming to the question (sap* user if not available)

i never heard of this question as i am a fresher but if

such case exists cant we go for Remote client copy

think...?This is my answer.

Answer
Just goto RZ04 and increase the number of background
processes in the specified operation mode.
We do a system copy using SCCL transaction.

If SAP* is not available, login at OS level as SIDADM and
sqlplus /nolog
connect /as sysdba;
delete sapsr3.usr02 where mandt='<client no.>' and
bname='SAP*';
goto /usr/sap/SID/SYS/profile and change the default
profile.
Add the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0
0R
goto RZ10,select default profile and extended maintenance
and change.
add the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=0 here

Hope it helps.

Answer
There are 2 types of client copies

Remote Client copy
Local Client copy

Local client copy : it is in the system , between different
clients

Remote client copy : it is between the different systems on
landscape

for these client copies to take place parameters required
are
source system
target system
rfc destination
and the transport layer should be fine assumin all this ok

now go to other system
create a new client
copy the sap* to newly created client
try to import that client , by copying the changes to
transport directory or via ftp

2

Answer
Whenever you create new client ,automatically sap* login is
created by default in new client, with pass word pass .
so how we can say that if sap* not available at all

RIGHT OR WRONG ?

Answer
the is no question of not having a user sap* .
and if you forget the password, just go and delete the user
from os level. system will create the user sap* by itself
and password will be pass.
and i think any superuser can do the client copy.

4
Arjun

Answer
When ever we create new client user SAP* is default for new
client. Make sure values for
login/no_automatic_user_sapstar parameter set to 0. And
login to new client as SAP* with password. Until SAP* is
created in any new client the validation is always from OS
level. If SAP* creates in client then the validation is
from database.

Answer
Using the concept of operation mode you can define the
additional background work process by Tcode RZ04

we can than perform a manual operation mode switch using
tcode RZ03.Then there is no need to restart the systen.

copy and
how you will do that?

Answer
Homogeneous copy is done when the source and target system
are on the same OS and Databse.
Heterogeneous Copy is done when the source and target
system differ either in OS or Database. Any ONE difference
needs a heterogeneous copy.
Homogenous copy is done by export/import technique.
Heterogenous copy is done by system migration. It is same
as export/import except that it will ask for target OS and
DB type and needs a key to be entered.

Hope it helps.
