| Answer | Relationship basically denotes how activities in a
networkorder are related to each other. They can be
classified into 4 categories - SS (Start-Start), SF(Start-
Finish), FF (Finish-Finish), FS (Finish - Start).
For 2 activities say A and B
SS -->> Both A and B start together
SF -->> Start of A coincides with finish of B and so on.
We can also specify the time gap between which these
relationships work. Say in an SS relationship, there can be
a 10 minutes gap between start of A and B and so on. |
| Subhrajyoti Bhattacharjee |
| |
| |
| Answer | relationship is nothing but reliation between the
activities. for ex: in any concern so many activities is
there, how to performe the activities is the, question here.
for ex:
let us see: if u want to built a building, then first u got
a approval from the govet., here 2 activities involved 1)u
built a house 2) u got a government approval, see here the
logic of relation ship is first u finish ur approval then
only u start a bulding, means here first activite closed and
2nd activity is start, this is called relationship, that too
at what type of relationship is it is. |

© ALL Interview .com |
| Answer | Settlement rules are nothing but settling the account for a
cost center.Which WBS are account assigned the cost of
corresponding WBS should be settled to the respective cost
center assigned for that WBS.Settlement rule is assigned in
settlement profile in which you will define (like assect)
the rules of settlement. |
| Satish |
| |
| |
| Answer | In SAP most cost objects - other than cost centers - must be
"settled" at period end. By means of the settlement the
costs incurred for the cost object (project, internal order,
...) are debited to other cost objects and/or G/L accounts.
The settlement rule, a table maintained in the cost object
master data, describes to SAP how the costs will be settled:
receivers, percentages, full/partial, etc..
Cost are settled when the user starts the settlement
procedure at period end. |

How LSMW and BAPI works?

| Answer | LSMW is an encapsulated data transfer tool. It can provide
the same functionality as BDC infact much more but when
coming to techinical perspective most the parameters are
encapulated. To listout some of the differences :
LSMW is basicaly designed for a fuctional consultant who do
not do much coding but need to explore the fuctionality
while BDC is designed for a technical consultant.
LSMW offers different techinque for migrating data: Direct
input ,BAPI,Idoc,Batch input recording. While bdc basically
uses recording.
LSMW mapping is done by SAP while in BDC we have to do it
explicitly .
LSMW is basically for standard SAP application while bdc
basically for customized application.
Sorry I didn't have knowledge on BAPIs. |
