Answer
I like interacting with people and a good problem solver.
It is a growing company as equal to IT. Both IT and ITES
work hand to hand and I think both there is an equal growth
in ITES (IT enabled services) companies.

It is better you go to any consultancies they will help you
with more logical answers to this type of questions.

Answer
Well, none of the above answers talk about QOS,

L2-QOS:
-------
It is clear that L2 is at MAC layer. In case of MAC level
forwarding such as Bridge connction and a quality of
service need to be assured, The following methods can be
used:

1) MAC filtering (avoiding unnecessary traffic coming from
known MAC sources)
2) VLAN & COS: VLAN will ensure that the traffic is
classified based on various parameters like MAC address,
incoming port, etc... COS: Class Of Service is a filed in
VLAN header. This will be used to prioritize traffic. Later
a QOS scheduler can use the COS filed to qualify the
traffic in to different QOS queues.

L3 - QOS
--------

L3 QOS is required for IP level classification.
Classification can be achieved by Diffserv implementations
that takes many IP parameters in to consideration in
prioritizing traffic. This priority can be set in TOS field
of IP header. This TOS will later be used by Scheduling
process to achieve QOS.

Answer
to set DHCP you need DHCP server or DHCP server capable
device such as cisco router etc... You then set the address
pool and excluded adresses then if it needs to be forwarded
off that lan segment you need to set ip helper on the
recieving interface of the none DHCP server router recieving
the broadcast. You will also need to configure the lease
time and default gateway etc..

Answer
NVRAM is used to hold Cisco IOS software image

0
Hari Gundala

Answer
NVRAM is used to store the "Start-up" configuration.

The Cisco IOS® software image is stored in Flash memory
(usually in compressed form), but it is loaded into RAM
before being executed by the router. Because the running
software image then resides in RAM, a new software image
can be downloaded and copied over the software image stored
in Flash memory

Correct me, if it is wrong?

Answer
OSI
Standard legislated by official recognized body. (ISO)
The OSI reference model was devised before the protocols
were invented. This ordering means that the model was not
biased toward one particular set of protocols, which made
it quite general. The down side of this ordering is that
the designers did not have much experience with the subject
and did not have a good idea of which functionality to put
in which layer.
Being general, the protocols in the OSI model are better
hidden than in the TCP/IP model and can be replaced
relatively easily as the technology changes.
Not so widespread as compared with TCP/IP. (complex ,
costly)
More commonly used as teaching aids.

TCP/IP
Standards adopted due to widespread use. (Internet)
The protocols came first, and the model was really just a
description of the existing protocols. There was no problem
with the protocols fitting the model, but it is hardly
possible to be use to describe other models.
“Get the job done" orientation.
Over the years it has handled most challenges by
growing to meet the needs.
More popular standard for internetworking for several
reasons :
relatively simple and robust compared to alternatives such
as OSI
available on virtually every hardware and operating system
platform (often free)
the protocol suite on which the Internet depends.

4
Jamal Fathima

Answer
We all know that OSI has 7 layers and TCP/IP suite has 5
layers. why? In TCP, we can achieve the functions of
Session and Presentation layers in Application layer
itself. This makes the TCP/IP protocol suite as a 5 layered.
The functions of Session and Presentation layer are
achieved in the Application layer with the help of
libraries.

3
Madhan

Answer
tcp/ip is conncetion oriented, secure , reliable and non
proprietary routable network protocol suite that enables
computers to communicate over all types of networks. it is
the native protocol of the internet and is required for
internet connectivity. and it is of 4 layers instead of 7
of osi model.
the layers are application, transport, internet and network.
Application-TFTP protocol.
Transport-TCP, UDP
Internet-IP,ARP,ICMP,IGMP
Network-Network Interface Card

Answer
It must be class B if network is not design proper. It's
Flat network configuration.

In large organizations that having this much of network
equipments, should design their network with proper VLAN and
IP Subneting. This will help to cutdown network traffic and
security. It also help to resolve and minimize network
related problems.

I didnt get the question. Still try to answer this question.

I believe that the question is regading OSI layers.

Error Control is done ot LAYER 4 of OSI.

Answer
IP checksum calculation function will return error.

For every packet that IP receives, it calculates checksum
and checks against the checksum value present in the
header. If there is no match, the function returns checksum-
error and the packet will be dropped by the calling routine.

Answer
As a matter of fact, we do know why you’re getting a Type
Mismatch error, and it’s a common problem when working with
the WMI class Win32_NetworkAdapterConfiguration. The line
in your script that’s causing the problem most likely looks
something like this:
Wscript.Echo "IP Address: " & objItem.IPAddress

So what’s the problem? Well, the IPAddress property is
actually stored as an array; that’s because it’s possible
for multiple IP addresses to be assigned to a single
network adapter. You’re treating IPAddress as though it was
a string or numeric variable and it’s not; an array is a
totally different datatype. Hence the Type Mismatch error.
