properties? One spot it is found hard for machining and
another spot soft? It is FG 260 grade for Cast Iron.

Answer
If it is a free flow single gate single runner casting then
the density variation leads to the diffrence in properties
across various sections. To get uniform density variation
usually pressure flow multigate multirunner castings are
preferred.

Answer
copper

Answer
for high rate of heat transfer and closed enclosure parts ,
copper would be best suited for reliability, heat transfer
and slight high cost than alluminium but fo parts where the
heat transfer rate is low and the parts have sufficient
space for heat to dissipate , alluminium is suitable.

Silver can also be used but it would make it a costly
proposition.

Answer
Two basic NDT test are Sound Test and Pressure Test. Sound
test has been used even by a common man in his day to day
life while purchasing a POT or any porcelein items.
Similarly pressure test also used by common man in his day
today life. Example to notice a small puncture in a two
wheeler.
