| Answer | This is a time of compitition so to become a famous fashion
designer he or she should have a creative mind. She should
know about trends, should have to work hard in learning more
and more about all the new things happening in the world. It
will inspire the designer to create new about their
designs. Should have to make links with the previous famous
fashion designers so that she could learn more about the
topic fashion. The practical knowledge is must as how the
garment is finally stitched. What fabric will suitable on
what design. What the customer like and what suits on his or
her personallity.Should have knowledge about all the
shilloutes. This is a time of compitition so inspite of all
the degree from any fashion institute is must.Because it
will open new doors for the new designer. The knowledge of
pattern making is also very much important with the
knowledge of stitching. So that it would help the designer
to make new experiments.Fashion is all about experiments
and the designer should always try to play with the
shilloutes to create new designs. She should always try to
search new and new. |

| Answer | Avoid "portrait photographer" they often don't understand
the need of the fashion industry. See the photographer's
portfolio. check out whether it represent the style and
format your looking for? Commercial photographers might be a
good source of work! Keep that in mind. Be concerned about
photographers who seek to take nude pictures of you or
claims to be working on a swimsuit calendar. Photographers
should be professional and respectful and you should bring a
friend along. Always be cheerful, you never know when you
might get a free shoot or a free picture or an extra roll
done at no extra cost! If you bring your own clothes to the
shoot, always bring extra. If the photographer for example
like your look and decides to do an extra roll you will be
ready to benefit from it. Keep an open mind photographers
loves to do editorial shots.

| Answer | At a casting you should bring
1. Your Headshot or Comp Card- Depending if the casting is
for an acting or modeling gig. If you do not have either of
these (professional), then bring a print or snapshot and
type or write your contact information on back. Sometimes
they will take a polaroid of you at the casting.
2) Your Resume
3) Pen and Paper- There may be forms to fill out, or you may
need to record further contact information.
4) ID- Some jobs require you to be a certain age, and you'll
need to prove it.
5) A Book or Magazine- Sometimes you can wait for an hour or
two before it is your turn to audition.

| Answer | You should only keep appealing pictures, always bear it in
mind that you are only as good as your worst picture! Models
should aim for quality not quantity.
Avoid using 2 pictures of the same look and feel. Black and
white is the Industry's favorite. 9 x 12 " are the standard
size.
A basic but versatile portfolio would have a casual head
shot, styled head shot, body shot (conservative swim suit or
lingerie) a fashion shot (sexy) action shot , an editorial
shot and even a catalogue shot. As you gain experience
replace the older picture with newer ones. Keep your best
pictures at the end to leave a last impression. Do not wear
jewellery for those prints; it takes the attention away from
you. The wrong choice of under garments may show panty line
or bra straps and will distract the viewer
