Yes taxi bills are allowed for LTA claim, If the bills are 
of reputed travels affiliated to indian tourism. The amount 
cleared is as per the distance travelled by the employee 
and same is converted to 1st class AC rly fare and paid to 
the employee (it depends on the dependents travelled with 
him as the number travlled as it will be cleared for each 
dependent.

The taxi hired in any destination is not allowed. The 
journey should wholly through taxi from the source (where 
employee located - official) to the destination.

If employee travelled thorugh Train / Flight to destination 
and hired taxi there then only Train / Flight charges will 
be cleared, the taxi fare will be rejected.
