Team leaders are the people who guide the team and they move the team in such a way that the assigned task is accomplished in the given time frame.
Being flexible, innovation and experimentation are also some of his important qualities. His various responsibilities include organizing the team, make them understand the goal and objectives and make sure that they are attained. Encourage team member to collaborate well with each other.
He should project his team and promote his team's work and should see to it that the members receive recognition for their input and hard work.

Duties / Responsibilities of a Team Leader.

1. To be an effective communication bridge between
management and agent / team members.

2. To attend to any immediate issues raised by the team
members pertaining to day-to-day operations and resolving
them within a stipulated time.

3. To drive the team towards goals and targets set by
respective management heads.

4. To be able to lift the teams morale in time of need or
when faced with an obstacle.

5. To be tactful and diplomatic in handling any challenges
faced due to non performance or personal matters in the team.

6. To have foresight in planning and addressing of any
issues / problems that the clients may face in the future.

7. To adhere to schedules and deadlines while preparing
reports and appraisals.

8. To be fair and just to all his team members when
resolving issues pertaining to appraisals / rosters / leaves.

matters of escalation calls and irate customers.
