definition.. i read the definitions many times... i need a
more detailed explanation... like whn i read the definition
it sounds simple... but i don understand whn they say it
like a hub has one collision domain and one broadcast

ok i am trying here
to understand it you have to see the hub structure let i am
taking 8 port hub od dlink ok?

now as structre of hub there is simple back bone like wire
which carry all the data.that is

____________________________________________________
| |
| |
port 1 port 8

no this is the simple pictrial digarm of hub

now what happen if the data flow accross the hub.

scince you know that hub act on lower layer that is
phycisal layer so it simply flood the data across the
network suppose we want to send some data at
192.168.100.255 it is conected through 8 port then hub
simply flodded the data at each and every port
thus we can say that hub have the single broadcast domain.

now coolison domain

from above disscussion we can say that only one user can
send that data at the same time no any user can send the
data in that same time

if two user send the data in same time what will hapeen
trafic is congusted and you get the page that "some
erreor:network is bussy"this is called coolison so you have
to send the data again.
thus form this diffination we can say that hub has single
collison doamin.for that draw back we devlped a new hub in
which we allocate the data a time satamp according to
priorty in such a amanner that if coolision occurs it will
wait for the time in which the dat can be transfred and
this data is kept in the buffer some time it is refred as
switch but it is not fully switch you can say it partialy
switch

ok
from above i supposed that it is difficut to understand the
coolison domain?

ok i am trying it agian

refer the above digarm

let user 1 want to send some data to user 8 at the same
time user 8th want to some data to port 2 at same time
now what happen in the middle there will be accident any it
is possible that one will die or both will die.
so in technicla term this is caled coolison

now as we know that hub act on physiacl layer then it
simply flood the data across the network.and it have only
on chanell to recive the data which is in fullduplex mode.

thus we can send/recive data simultanisuly.but it have
singe chanell then tyrafic become conjusted and coolison
occurs in it collion domain that is ither sending domain or
reciver domain(HERE is LITTLE chance)so it is calles single
coolison domain

so hun have the single coolision doamin and single
broadcast domain.

what is domain
domain in no thing it is a midia through which data is
transfred.in this case that backbone wire is domain.

ok i think u r able to understand it little bit fro more
knowledge aboout it
comapir it to switch you can easly get what i am saying

ok haev a nice day/night(slect one)ha ha ha ah

consepts which you have .i used to read yours answer and
it is more knowlegebe then book.the question which you
posted that is asked at vovo are also good ad they are too
much conceptual.teel me how to devlop that type of consept

Hi ravikant
At first thanks for the complement
that mine answers are more knowledgeable then books
When I was preparing for the ccna I have also lots of
question in my mind which I afraid to ask from my teacher.
One day I meet with a boy he have score 986 marks in ccna
exam I ask to him then he told me three steps for
developing the concepts
1 reading
2 thinking
3 implementations

I did these three think to develop my concepts but till
then I am not completely satisfied?

Over all go through one book more time rather then more
book one time for buildup the concepts
