All dielectric are insulators.But all insulators are not dielctric.Becoz dielectric material is used to store electrical energy where as insulators can't.

Why HT 11 KV Slipring Motors are connected in star ?
our company have 750 kva oil transformer.still we have facing a problem that is when voltage is 11.5 kv coming from HT side then LT-side voltage is 420v or above at tape 1.please give me best solution to decrease the voltage
Why frame of the motor is specified?. If we mention KW and voltage level,automatically frame is decided or separately frame is compulsory to mention?.
