operations,SCM,Marketing & all related departments by the
way of VA/VE, process improvements,modifications,use of
alternate process/materials and process imprpovement by the
way of decreasing cycle time using work study/analysis......
Too many options to be considered depending on type of
industry and volume...
I will concentrate on Business Process re-engineering.Every
business process should be analysed in to small segments
and each segment should be further divided into procedure
and process and from these basic procedure, eliminate
unworthy area of process and procedure thus by doing this
kind of exercise for each area we can reduce our budget
with out compromising quality
budget is goal of organisation quantified in numericals
how to reduce budget by 10% will depends upon for what
budget is made eg., sales, production
as from above question it is clear that budget is alredy
made i will reduce all variable contibuting to it to
such extent that budget is not affected qualitativly
and is in adherence to policy of organisation
