This is not Universe types.
Personal,Shared, Secured are Unverse connections.
most prefered Secured , we can export all changes made in 
unverse. where as other connection does not allow.

2.Non Ad_hoc Universe .

There are two types of categories personel(Non Ad_hoc)& 
Corporate(ad_hoc),

these question is not specific ....there may be many 
situations in bo where we can classify the universes..
i'll tell some.....

1.depending on type of data universe objects mapping
adhoc (corporate data)
non adhoc(personal data)
2.in linking universes scenario
core universe(called kernel or master universe) and derived 
universe
3.depending on universe parameters.
secured universe..personal universe...shared universe..

universes are two types
1. simple
2. complex- core universe
            derived universe  both are called complex

simple : not depend any other universe
core : core universe is a universe any other universe are 
linked that is core
derived: derived universe is a universe any other universe 
linked core universe that is derived

linked universe means all common compondents,elements  is 
called linked universe
