in single phase, voltage is measured between the Neutral &
Phase is 230 V while in 3-Phase voltage measured between two
phases is 415 V. 3-Phase having a 2-types  of connection
,(1) Star and (2) Delta.

single phase =230volt
 but three phase =440volt that is differnce for me.

In a 
Single phase system: there will be one phase conductor and
one neutral conductor.The avaialble voltage in single phase
system is in between 210-240V and it is measured between
phase and neutral conductor.
whereas
In a
Three phase System: there will be three phase conductors for
three phases and one neutral conductor.The available
voltages are 415-440V when measured between Phase-Phase and
210-240 when measured Phase-Neutral.
