just now i recieved a mail from Dena bank 

interview on 18th may morning 8.00 a.m

i m also selested for dena bank interview can anybody 
suggest what type of questions will be asked

am,did u recieve the call letter for interview thru post?i 
didn recieve any..

i got an email for the bank.

The interview is on 20 may at Bhopal.

Did anyone get the call letter.

hi Pooja,
I was selected for SBI Clerk 20000 vacancies 2008 for the 
interveiw but could not clear that.
They asked very simple questions about myself, working 
experience, hobbies, interest and everything from my bio-
data.

But for Dena bank the interveiw carries 100 marks so the 
question will be little bit hard covering banking knowldge, 
general awareness, communication skills, and also your 
qualifications and experience..

that's all i guess.....

be easy.they will ask abt what r u dng presently n y u want

I visited the B.M. of Dena Bank of my city. He told me that 
if your written goes well you have better chances. They 
only see your personal appearance, cinfidence, 
communicational skills but not your general awareness and 
knowledge as they have already seen in your written exam.
I am agree with that ???

hi mayuri & vikas ,i am having my interview on 27th 
mumbai.first of all congrats to all of u and all the best 
for u r exam .and please share u r experience and the 
interview questions .it will be really helpful.plzzz.....

I have got their mail too and my interview is on 20th may in
Kolkata. I appeared in the SBI interview but couldn't clear
it. One thing I can say that don't make careless mistakes
and don't pretend that you need the job badly. Be calm and
collected and don't take it as an interview, just go and
have a nice and easy chat with them. And yes, current
affairs are not that important, but banking facts such as
CRR, Repo rates, reverse repo and assets are important. Best
of luck to u all. Let me know if you get the job okey???

hii everybody congrats to all of u 4r getting selected in 
dena bank's interview.earlier ven i attened sbi's 
interview,it was told dat it is of 35 marks but dena bank 
gives 100 marks for interview.so here i am confused.can 
anybody help me?also what should be our answer 4r d 
question y v want 2 join bank??hope u vil respond.

Hi Mayuri. They generally do not ask that question. But if
they do, tell them that you'd like to serve your country and
taking care of the money of your fellow countrymen is one
good way to do it. I think that's a fare answer. Hope you'll
find a better answer. If you do, please share okey???

might hav attended d interview on 18th plz share wht r d 
questions being asked

100 marks of interveiw and 200 marks of written 

that means about 33%.

That of SBI is aroung 30%-35%

Not 200 marks for written becoz the marks of english will
not be considered as it is for qualifying purpose only...one
has to get a minimum of 40% in the interviews...anyways my
deadline is tomorrow 8 a.m. wish me luck fellas...best of

Okey, so i faced them today...and guess what, they are not
at all concerned about your knowledge of banking or
technical skills...they are chatting about yourselves...all
you have to do is to know yourself thoroughly...and believe
me, that's the difficult part, becoz none of us have a clear
idea about how we really are...and do not speek anything
negative...even if u speek of a failure, try to get
something positive out of it...best of luck to all of you!!!

Can u tell me the question were asked in english or in any other language????????

I also faced the interview on 20th. Guess what my 
experience was same as Pratik's. they only asked about me, 
family, and experience. Nothing about banking and all that.

Rajiv, They asked in hindi but some question were in 
english too.
