Re: HOW TO CONVERT RAINFORCMENT CALCULATION: RUNING METER TO KG
# 2
suppose ...
12mm bar of one meter length
( Qty of reinforcement is =

0.00618 x sq. of dia.in mm x length of bar )

QTY = 0.00618 X [12X12] X 1

=0.089 KG PER RUNNING METER

Is This Answer Correct ? 57 Yes 62 No

Re: HOW TO CONVERT RAINFORCMENT CALCULATION: RUNING METER TO KG
# 3
FORMULE FOR CAL REINFORCE

D*D
WT= ---
164
WER D= DIA OF REINFORCEMENT
WT= WEIGHT OF REINFORCEMENT PER METER

Is This Answer Correct ? 39 Yes 27 No

Re: HOW TO CONVERT RAINFORCMENT CALCULATION: RUNING METER TO KG
# 4
To find the unit weight of reinforced for the given diameter.

wt/m = area of bar*unit weight of steel
=22/7*1/4*(D)^2*(7850)/10^6 = 0.0061678*(D)^2
= (1/0.0061678)*D^2 = D^2/162.13

Ex.for 12mm dia.= 12^2/162.13 = 144/162.13= 0.888 kgs/m

Is This Answer Correct ? 75 Yes 1 No

Re: HOW TO CONVERT RAINFORCMENT CALCULATION: RUNING METER TO KG
# 5
As our friend mr ketan khatri had given the correct

explanation for finding the wt/m of any dia (but slight
correction i need to add to that ie, insteed of 164 it is
162) hence using formulae

wt /m (of any dia)=(suare of diametre of that dia)/162

That dia indicates ,the dia for which u need to find the
wt/m

Re: HOW TO CONVERT RAINFORCMENT CALCULATION: RUNING METER TO KG
# 6
16mm diameter bar

weigh factor for 16mm
16 x16 x 0.00617=1.579kg

whatever u get multipy by the weigh factor gives u the
kilogram of the reinforcement

Is This Answer Correct ? 25 Yes 5 No

d*d/162

d=diameter of a bar in mm

is equal to wt in kg per running meter

Is This Answer Correct ? 17 Yes 3 No
