`how many amps in 1 KVA? V=440v, PF=0.8 and FREQ=50Hz`

if it is 3 phase
KVA=1.732*V*A
1000=1.732*440*A
A=1.31A

for 1 phase
KVA=V*A
1000=440*A
A=2.27A

If consider Is in three phase circuit

A=kva*1000/v*1.732

therefore
=1*1000/440*1.732
=1.31A

If Consider is in Single phase circuit
A=1*1000/V
=1*1000*/440
=2.27A

According to above formula
I= KVA/1.732*Line Voltage
I=1000/1.732*440
I=1.312Amp.

For 3-Ph system
KVA(Apparent Power)=1.732*V*I
I=(KVA/1.732*V)*1000
I=(1/1.732*440)*1000
=1.31 A

For a 1-Ph system

KVA=V*I
I=(1/440)*1000
=2.27 A

when kva given PF not to consider because formula to find
current is

1)When KVA know
L.Current= KVAX1000/L.VoltsX1.732

2)when kw knows
L.Current= KWx 1000 /L.VoltsX1.732XPF

3)when HP knows
L.Current= HPx746/L.VoltsX1.732XPFxefficeincy

PF effects kw , that is reason our power unit measuring is
kwh
