Motor is an inductive load so it is consuming
active power that depends on its load and
reactive power that is consumed by motor to set up its
magnetic field it is constant so we should connect a
capacitor which consumes the negative reactive power
according to p.f. correction requirement.
assume we are put both df/dt and vector surge relay in
same bus the df/dt relay setting is +5 hz an -5HZ. we want
operat the vector surge relay before the df/dt how i
calculate the setting of the vector surge relay.
Do these factors (settling time, peak time, steady state
error, overshoot, rise time, MPOS (Maximum percent over
shoot)) are the part of first order, second order, higher
order, linear, non-linear, open-loop, closed-loop,
homogeneous & non-homogeneous systems ?
