What i know is that, its an third party monitoring tool for 
Started Tasks.

Oh.... So much more. You can completely automate your 
MVS/IMS/DB2 systems.... 
 its host residendt. (wish it it was PC)... but..,,,
It can do the job... we went from 87.5% uptime to 99.55%''..
I can help with most automation....
