Question
If Tester found the bug in build 2.0.0 tester will assign 
it to developer but not get fixed in next build 2.0.1 then 
tester have to assign it again for every build if not get 
fixed upto build 2.0.7 or not?
Same question is for version also?

We should analyse the Cause for not fixing the bug.
If the bug is differed by Dev Team
In some projects implementation of a new feature will fix 
the bug or else dev people need to add other 
functionalities to make it fix.In this situation Dev team 
have right to differ(Means the defcet will be closed in 
future build release)the bug. The release may be immediate 
next release or later releases.No need to report again this 
differed bug,as it's status is 'Open' in defect tracking 
system.

For version:
To release SW Version QC should give a Release Note,
This release note will be given if the all High priority 
High,medium severity defects are fixed(by dev team) and 
closed(testing team).
So now if a defect/bug is reported in 2.0.0 Build should be 
closed before release of the current vesion. 
U know a version may have nay number of releases,For eg:
Before release Vesion 2.0 
Different builds(2.0.1,2.0.2,2.0.3..etc) are released for 
QC for testing.

When the tester fixes the bug at 2.0.0 then it is verified 
by the T.L and it is given the priority to that so based on 
the priority the developer will be rectifying the bugs.If 
the bug is a important functionality bug it will be 
rectifyed in the 2.0.1 version but if the functionality is 
less then it will be rectified later in the later versions.
