Both are used for the software deveopment process.  

Water Fall Model: In This model testing is done after 
coding. We have no chance to go back.

V Model: In this model defines conceptual dependency 
between development process and testing process to assure 
quality. 

Waterfall Model:- this is a single thread proces i.e
sequentialy process one after another one.

V-Model:- This is Verification and Validation Model

completion of coding. If there is any mistake in any 
documentation then the whole coding must be changed.

V model:
In this model testing is done at each and every step which 
assures quality. Verification and Validation is done 
simultaniously.

end.If there is change in the first module means we have to 
rebuild module again.
