Re: castigliano's theorems are based on
Answer
# 1
if we are taking 2 points in a member a and b.
then if we apply load on point a then there some diflection
will occure at point b. than again if apply load on b than
there some deflection at a. the diflection at both the
point will same.

Re: castigliano's theorems are based on
Answer
# 3
Castigliano's theorem is exactly based on strain energy
principle ,which gives the deflection & load acted ata
point .
From castigliano's 1st theorem ...., we can get the
deflection at a point of the body, by getting derivative of
strain energy wrt. the load acted at that point.
From castigliano's 2nd theorem ...., we can get the load at
a point by getting the derivative of total strain energy
wrt. the deflection at that point.

Re: castigliano's theorems are based on
Answer
# 5
1st theorem: the strain energy of a conservative system is
expressed in terms of N-independent displacement degree of
freedom, then the load that corresponds to degree of
freedom. 2nd theorem: partial derivative of the
complimentary strain energy wrt load yields the
displacement component of the loaded point in the direction
of that load.....
