We alway give more importance for priority and then
severity
which is affected very sevior with High priority or low
priority that particular bug has to be fix as early as
possible then only we can able to go for further testing
When you need to consider severity there is no priority
they have given only severity like FAT, MAJ & MIN
here you have to consider severity.
so you have to give more importance for BUG A

Yes need to resolve High priority Bug B and Importance wise
Bug A. In this situation to avoid delays you can also check
with the Team lead to start fixing. Some time tester may be
wrong while selection whether its high or low priority.

Bug A should be fixed first as severity reflects impact of
bug on product & user.Thereby as bug A is affecting users
or product highly it'ld be given more importance.
Why not bug B ? :Bug B has high priority however its
severity is low hence users/product are not much affected
by this one.We can consider this bug after A.

The company has software running in its production
environment that was designed and tested on its quad-
processor servers with 16 GB of RAM. In order to meet
budget constraints, its disaster recovery plan calls for
this same software to be installed on functionally
identical servers, which are dual-processor with 12 GB of
RAM. The test group has been tasked with confirming that
the software is going to work on the hardware proposed in
the disaster recovery plan.
