where-n(s)-synchronous speed
n(o)-original speed(no load)

slip is defined as the ratio of difference between 
synchonous speed(Ns) and actual speed(N) to synchonous 
speed.

S= Ns-N/Ns.  and 
percentage slip=Ns-N/Ns*100.
