Is QTP a compiler or interpreter..? can you we execute a 
QTP Script file in a another system which does not have QTP 
installed..??

QTP is an Interpreter. We cannot execute QTP script in 
another system which doesnot have QTP installed

Win runner is interpreter   but qtp is compiler....correct
me if i am wrong...i think this is one of the difference
between qtp and win runner..

Yes. QTP is Complier. It's one of the difference between 
QTP and Winrunner.

Yes,QTP is a Complier.Beacause QTP check all lines of code  
first.If it finds an error or warning(in single line of 
code), then script will not execute.That's the role of 
complier.

No,we can't execute a QTP Script file in a another system 
which does not have QTP installed.Beacause QTP have own 
objects.

Hi, I want to write the script for a webpage. But i didn't added the properties of the objects to the object repository. Without adding the object properties to the object repository, how to write the script. When i am writing the script, Let us say i typed as Browser (""). after selecting ".", if the object is added to the object repository it will display atomatically. But in my case it is not as i didn't added the object properties. How to proceed further in the above mentioned case to write the script manually. I have to do testing for XML file using QTP. 1. I was given a sample XML, I had to edit that with my actual data and had to make a new XML-- this part is completed, I did that. 2. Now I have to copy the exact contents of that XML file and have to paste it in a web application as a request message for web appliaction processing, using QTP. So I am unable to copy and paste it in web application, please help me out.  1
