What is the ADP&PDP in air dryer?

Re: What is the ADP&PDP in air dryer?
Answer
# 1
The A.D.P. is related to temperature, while the P.D.P. is
related to pressure. The relationship is inverse: Lower
temperatures or higher pressures encourage condensation or,
in your case absorption of water by the desiccant material.
Higher temperatures or lower pressures do the opposite,
which is why at high enough temperatures (and sometimes
lower pressures also, as in a partial vacuum) the water is
driven from the desiccant material thereby "re-newing" it
to be used again.

The tendency for water to condense or evaporate is a factor
of its vapor pressure, which is temperature related and the
air pressure.

Answer
# 2
ADP means apperatus due point example air handling unit
coil , when normal 30 degree is passed over a coil whose
temp of fins is around 12 degrees than the air will
achieve 12 deg that means the air will be at 12 deg
saturated. and what ever extra moisture present in air will
condense.
PDP means pressure due point.it means the moisture present
in the air will condense at the given temperature which is
given in degrees.
