as per my concern marketing myopia is for that people who
give more importance to sell rather then marketing them
,they want to just sell their products .....this is called
as marketing myopia.

marketing mayopia is redefining your business and strategy 
and broadem your vision. Actually organisation define their
business to narrowly in the begining and than later on with
the change in market they redefine themselve again and 
again is known as market mayopia

Marketing myopia stands for short sightedness in the sense
that company is just following the conventional method of
its strategies instead of contemporary strategies of marketing.

For ex. pager co. never thought that mobile co. will take
over their business, but as the economical and demographical
trends in India changed, pager co. started diminishing from
the market.

As Mr. Jack Welch former C.E.O of General Electric said ,
"change or die"

understanding the needs of the customer is very important 
if the organization dont understand their needs and offer 
the product or service in the market it will be rejected by 
the customers because the product or service is not 
satisfieng the customer need,.
