Hi,
SOme time due to lack of time v will do the testing without
writeing the test cases this method is called AD-hoc
testing.
if v got the bug means v log the bug with reproduceable
steps.
Yes, we can do but there is a huge chance to miss out the
finding of defects from the application because Test case
document contains the sequencially points to be applied for
application that means we can check the module with
sequencially with applying different condition.(but test
case should be written properly with covering all the
conditions of this module to find out the defects) .
Otherwise there is no mean....please anyone
know better ,let me know in my mail-id or mobile no.

but, if some company asks like "Did u prepare the Test Cases
in ur previous company", then if we say ad-hoc testing, then
that interviewer will consider us or not?

Suppose u found a bug which a developer could not reproduce
and it is reproducing on your pc whenever tried , then in
this siyuation what will be the status of the bug, and what
u r going to do for that bug.
there are 100 test cases. and u got a bug at 85th test
cases. u reported it to dev and dev fixed that bug. when u
r doing regression testing from whic test case u'll do
tetsing?? will start from 85 th test case are u'll execute
100 test cases??
Here is the scenario. We have web app. in ASP.NET, server is
IIS and database is SQL server2005.
The application is used in healthcare industry. I am going
to get realtime data from healthcare company to test. I need
to perform back end testing. If someone can help me
understand how i can start back end testing.
