The most basic thing to take care of is the power supply 
because CMOS IC's work at low Voltage and at the same time 
its very sensitive to abruupt change in power input which 
may even result in IC burnout

CMOS IC are very sensitive to static voltage
if we handle them without care they may damage.

we must wear esd wrist strap to avoid damabe of ic .a human 
body may create tousands of static voltage .this may  cause 
discharge through ic could damage .
