test environment is nothing but ur test bed setup i.e ur 
s/w and h/w for executing the application.
 
1. check there is no development tool in that system where  
u r going to test the application
2. check whether proper Os with service pack or patch is 
installed
3.check whether enough memory space to run the application
4. better do run a virus check
5. check for the integrity of the database
6. check for the integrity of the web server.
