2. External Recruitment:-fill the vacancy by external source.

now a days we have two types of methods of recruitment:-
direct and indirect
when we recruit the person directly after taking directly
applications called as direct recruitment
when we recruit the person indirectly after involving some
betveen called as indirect recruitment

Recruitment methods divided in to three categories

Direct method, sending travelling recruiters to the
education institutions or colleges and they recruit the
students from there. Campus recruiting. In co-operation
with college placement office.
Indirect method, mostly advertising in Newspaper, journals,
Raido, Tv.
Third party methods, Private employment agencies,
Consultancies, Employee referrals, job portals
Really surprised to see, that no one is using Organization
Mapping, Project Mapping, Head hunting, various forums,
networking sites.
I dont think that you can be a recruiter without all these
basic skills. A fresher can do, mass mailing, job posting
etc. whatever is mentioned in the above answers.
