Mainly this confusion will come ...whenevr we doing the 
Regression testing .....So,Keep thinking of the previous 
bugs u have raised...so, tht u will not get any duplicate 
bugs....

Well you can avoid it using two methods:
1.Go to your bug reporting tool and do search the bug using
some keywords
2. You can have an eye on the previous defects reported
