In an Interview I have been asked the following questions,
1) How would allocate job to your team members if you are
assigned a role of Team Lead.
2) The second question was, do you follow any technique for
the distribution of time while assigning jobs to your team
members.
For, both the questions I was clueless to answer.
Please give me a practical approach for the above questions.

if you were not able to answer these quesions, you are very
much unfit for Team Lead position.
Well, i would advise you to observe your team leader how he
works and follow him.
A person should be a leader or should follow a leader.

you should basically start identify the best quality in
each individual and the type of tasks you have to
accomplish.
like say, resources good
->at scripting must be given task of automation
->at manual testing must be given task of writing scenarios.
->done lots of installation/uninstallation should be
assigned setup related tasks.

1.Based on the team member knowledge on the project,which
module he is expert, and his experience in the project and
domain, i will consider those things while assiging the job
to the team member.
2.In the test plan we have schedule,based on that we will
follow the timelines to finish the work.
we need to get daily or weekly updates on the project from
them,if they are not able to do effectively, arrange the KT
or walkthrough from developers or seniors.
Adhoc testing is done ?(a)without proper testplan and
without proper test cases (b)without proper testplan and
with proper testcases (c)Both a & b (d) none of the above ?
