cut off mark for all the categories is same for prelims ...
there is no separate cut off for SC/ST.... well after
getting through the prelims ,SC/ST Quota will be existing
after the mains exams ..... moreover pass percentage for
sc/st is about 30% in the mains exams where as it is 40% for
the general candidates.
IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT WHILE CONDUCTING THE GROUP I EXAM
APPSC DOES NOT FOLLOW THE RESERVATION SYSTEM( AS OTHER
STATES LIKE KARNATAKE,KERALA AND TAMILNADU ETC FOLLOW),
THERBY DEPRIVED SOME SECTIONS OF THE SOCIETY INCLUDING
WOMEN. AS PER PAPER NEWS BC ASSOCIATION MET CM AND
REQUESTED HIM TO DO JUSTICE AND IN A STATEMENT DECLARED
THAT CM ASSURED THEM THAT JUSTICE WILL BE DONE. IF
ADMINISTRATION TAKES A VIEW INFAVOUR OF THIS MANY CAN ALSO
BE QUALIFIED. HOPE FOR THE GOOD RESPONCE.
yes.. thr is no reservatn in prelims unlike many states do
provide.. reservatn is applied nly whn u pass the hurdle f
prelims.. due 2 non reservatn here most f the communities
are gettn deprived and many f the posts r goin 2 oc
students. wish thy provide reservatn

Hi,
I am native of AP, born in AP, but as my father was a
Railway employee we had to grow up out of state (Karnataka),
and hence all our education was done in Karnataka (CBSE).
Now am I eligible to take Group 1 and 2 exams conducted by
Ap Govt ? Is there any mandatory condition that I need to be
have studied in AP only ?
