FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION: The blueprint for the design of a 
system. With regard to a business information system, the 
specification provides the documentation for the database 
structure, the human and machine procedures, and all the 
input, processing and output detail for each data entry, 
query, update and report program.

It is document where the requirements are present(given by 
client) mapped to a sequencial number based upon on which 
tester will raise defect if there is any mismatch found 
while executing the testcase from test case document inturn 
contains number mapped to FS.

The Functional Specification includes specific information 
about each functional requirement of the software. The
