ab background mein hi job run karni hai toh company tumhe 
kis kaam k paise deti hai....

To scheledule a background job Execute a transaction SM36
and select Job Wizard and schedule your background job and 
mention proper time to schedule the background
and Execute Transaction SM37 to View all or Particular jobs 
Running at background

functional guy will schedule the Job. We need not want to 
worry about the background job. U can Schedule it by sm36.

Any one can schedule through SM36. It's based on the 
requirement.

Through TCODE SM37 once can schedule bgd job. At OS level
sapevt will trigger off the background job.

user having following Authority can schedule backround job

1)S_BTCH_ADM
2) S_BTCH_JOB
3)s_RZL_Adm
