After complition of testing team formation by test lead ,he 
consontrate on analysing and identifying the risks with 
testing team and devolopement team. this process is called 
Risk Analysis and also called " root cause analysis".

What is Risk Analysis

It is termed as one of the Key Process Area in CMM level
Called "Causual Riks Anaysis" CAR
Which involves indentifying Risk from the root level..,and 
get the mitication ( Alternate ) in place.., and ensure 
that the root cause is solved for any risk involved

quantify the severity of the risks. A risk is
the potential for loss or damage to an organization from 
materialized threats. Risk can be
measured to a large extent by performing a risk analysis 
process.

Risks are identifiable exposure areas of Low, Medium or 
High severity within the design/development phase that 
could have an impact on the overall project.    A Risk is 
normally a potential problem that has been identified early 
enough for the project team to make efforts to mitigate it.
