I think, there is a difference between client and 
customer.For client s/w is made for specific purpose means 
s/w is made in order to fulfill  the specific request of 
client. and for customer application is made for common 
purpose. so, client would get the more services than 
customer.

client---> client give Specifications and use that 
application

customer---> In market level who have been purchased that 
software ....

people will come to us with specific requirements in order
to develop an application or project.

 where as in case of customers we have to develop a product
by our own requirements.


correct me if i am wrong.

i think company work according to client i.e. specific 
treatment
whereas customer work according to the facilities provided 
by the company i.e.general treatment

Customers are like people come to some shop to buy a final 
product.

Clients are like to make the final product with new new 
enhamcements and reqirements. this relationship will be 
long where as not for customer.

customer is one whom we sell any product or services.
 

client is someone whom professional services are rendered,for example lawyer and doctor's services
